Cafés

Saigon is a small city yet so large, with all the detours and the hidden locations.
Well here are some recommendations for you guys, personally I really enjoy going to these places.

*Once in a while I will update on my list :)

District 1:

Mockingbird café

Address: 4th floor of 14 Tôn Thất Đạm St

Don't be terrified by the look of the entrance, it might look like a dangerous place but trust me, it's haven in there. As an old vintage apartment, it's a perfect location to take photos if you are one of those artsy fartsy people. I won't recommend it for a date since your date might feel threaten, unless he/she is a hipster that enjoys going to cute little cafés. This cosy place is definitely my go to spot when I feel a bit down. I usually order a blueberry smoothie or a lipton tea meanwhile looking at the dreamy, illusional view and listening to the "retro-ish" acoustic music in the background. Or simply take my friend here and go on a mini photoshoot haha!

Lipton tea

La Rotonde
Address: 77B Hàm Nghi st

Located at the corner of one of the main streets in the centre of Saigon it's a must go place. French inspired yet still have that Vietnamese traditional feel to it, it's a very special place. It has a small simple black & white  door, which is very easy to be missed but for me it grabbed my attention at the first glance. The architect of this location is very unique, the entrance hall way is very limited yet the actual place is quite big and very refreshing. The plants add a very soothing property and the windows really exaggerate and expand the space making it an open space. Very nice for working or studying but also suitable for a meet up with your love ones.

The Workshop

Address: 27 Ngô Đức Kế st, Bến Nghé

An absolutely beautiful place, in my opinion. It's like a hidden Starbucks, with those yellow warming lights and that amazing coffee scent. Since it's a quite popular place so sometimes it can be busy, especially on the weekends but otherwise this place is, hence the name, a lovely place to work or to take artsy pictures like me. The coffee here tastes really pleasing though!

Tea time!

Khanhcasa
Address: Garden - 66 Lê Lợi st
Express - 77 Hàm Nghi st
Tea House - 46-48-50 Đồng Khởi st

I haven't been to the newest one (Tea House) but I have seen it before and I think it won't be long until I conquer the place. I can't stress myself enough about how much I love this chain of tea & coffee kind of restaurant. Both the garden and express are amazing, no words can describe how beautiful these places are.

Loft café
Adress: 1st floor 26 Lý Tự Trọng st
              2nd floor 95 Pasteur st

Great food with a vintage vibe!
 Kujuz
Adress: 3A Tôn Đức Thắng st
5 Trần Quý Khoách, Tân Đinh st (You can cook your own drinks here)

50k for one drink, 100k for the whole day! Sounds like a good deal to me. Amazing to take pictures and very peaceful.

Runam Bistro
Address: 202 Pasteur st

For a fancy night out, you should head to Runam Bistro! It's a little pricier but the service is definitely worth it. The design is also absolutely beautiful.

Secret Garden
Address: 158 Pasteur st

Vietnamese cuisine

She café
